Howdy!
on: September 13, 2009, 04:25:06 AM
Howdy folks! My name's Bowman, I'm an intake tech in a state mental institution in North Carolina. I've been a long time lurker here. I've worked pretty hard searchin' brick & mortars for some harder to find Leathermans & SAKs. Some of you may know me from EDC, (same name) & CPF (9881255). Thanks for havin' me!

Honestly not a lot that would interest many of you guys. I bought a Leatherman Pulse way back when they were still in production from a gunstore that was goin' out of business for $20, & drooled over some of the others that Leatherman made but just couldn't be found in my area. I went back & got the tool adapter for it for around $7 just before they went out of business. These were 2 of the only 3 Leatherman products they had in the shop. I regret not getting the Crunch they had, & went back & bought the same one from the store reopened by new owners 7 years later. I've got a little shop just across town that's been selling knives for 45 years that's got some awesome deals on Vics, so I've been workin' on my Alox collection, nothin' real outstanding, but it's a work in progress. Just last week picked up a bnib (blue box) Leatherman mini dated 0695 & 0995 with the split ring still taped to the little typed out sheet for next to nothin'! I carry either a Soldier, or a Pioneer, with some sort of multi pretty much everyday. My job is not blade friendly whatsoever, so I usually carry deep in the pocket, but when something breaks around here, they all come runnin' to me. Guess you could call me more of a hoarder than a collecter due to I really don't want all Leathermans or Vics, & I try to take exceptionally good care of my stuff. When it's not in my pocket, it's in my gunsafe with my other toys.

No it's just one of the pics that was avaiable on the forum. When I joined up, I was on my work computer & I don't have access to any of my pics there, & I'm a pretty big fan of Bruce so... On a completely random note, I had to get re-CPR certified tonight at work, & they showed us a video of a new whole body vacu-splint we've gotta use for neck injuries & such & I SWEAR Bruce Campbell narrated the damn thing!!! You could even tell his mannerisms in his voice when he'd get bored with what he was reading!
