I finally made up my mind and got a victorinox climber model .Next months wage will see a Swiss tool added to my armoury it will probably be the original as I seem to have all the bases covered with the combination of the two
The first project is to build and hang a garden gate with these two and a hammer I will post the end results

Good choice Jock!  The Climber is one of Victorinox's most popular models, as evidenced by the number of "Specials" offered.  The StayGlo scales were offered on the Climber and the Matterhorn model featuring a picture of the infamous mountain.

Good luck with the gate and make sure to let us know every sordid detail of how it goes!
