You all are such a bad influence!  :)  I don't hunt but I love archery.  I very much want a recurve.  I don't like compounds.  I probably could like them, I just learned on a little POC when I was little and I got to shoot some recurves and longbows at different places over the years.  I want one!!  Anyone have one of those???  There's just not really a place around here to do it.  There's some indoor ranges, but they are frequented by hunters who don't really like it when all you wanna do is just hit the target for no other reason than hitting the target.

If you want a Recurve then that is what I would get.
Look in the right hand corner of my first picture and you
will see my Longbow hiding by the dresser.I use to shoot
recurve, but for hunting I didn't feel confident with it.

You really don't need a range to shoot at,unless you live in town I guess.
I just have a targets set up in the back yard.

Yeah, that the problem.  I live in town.  At home (not where I live now) the state forest has an archery and a firearm range.  There isn't one of those up here, though.  Thanks for the tip! :D

That's a bad attitude. The shooting sports is in danger of becoming seriously downsized as more and more people believe that guns and bows are dangerous. They should be encouraging you. I don't like people like that.

Did someone say archery!

My right handers that I got at various garage sales. I don't have any of these anymore. I gave them all away to various neighbourhood children. I am a lefty anyways.

But I do have...

Martin Prowler.

Martin Onza.

Martin Lynx Magnum.

Xi Legacy.

High Country Excalibur.

Bear Formula Silver.

APA Black Mamba MX1 (2009).

PSE Sequoia Flat Bow. Photo not that good but the only one I have at the moment.

I also have a Hoyt Helix Olympic recurve with Carbon 300 limbs but no photos of that yet.

The Black Mamba, Sequoia, and Helix are fairly new.

I have a nice ash, D section, English longbow.  I'll get a pic at some point but frankly it's a curved bit of wood. :)

Nice to see these.  I don't shoot a bow anymore but did when I was younger, hunted and did competitive field shooting.  I was very good.  My main competition bow was a 72 lb draw Jerry Hill longbow made of spit bamboo and glass.

Na, it's a friend of mine makes them at cost for me.  I'm a poor enough shot that I end up loosing them on a regular basis. :-\ ;)

It was a few years back now, but it was somewhere in the area of £90-£100.

Not heavy, it's around 45lb at full draw.

A good weight to have fun with. My flatbow is 50 pounds. I wouldn't want anything heavier for target practice.
