Hi fellow multitool fans from N. Illinois.  I've been lurking for quite some time now and decided to join it and learn.  I've got a couple dozen multitools, mostly Leatherman but I love Victorinox's products as well.  I bought my first Leatherman PST in 1990 while sitting in the desert heat of Saudi Arabia in the "hurry up and wait" mode during Operation Desert Shield.  I found a hunting and fishing store catalog from someplace in Maine.  Anything was worth reading and so while browsing through it I noticed the PST.  I ordered it and it caught up to me a month later or so.  I've had it ever since, although it's retired.  This is a great forum.

Leatherman series articles

I've been wanting to do a video on YouTube but 10 minutes isn't enough time and I don't want to do it in several parts.  I'll have to take some pictures in the next week or so and post them.

Welcome to the forums 1jump2many,I too was in Desert Shield/Storm,and retired 2 years later with 31 years,and I carried the original PST at that time,buy your name title,were you a paratrooper,and got hurt on your last jump??

Thanks for the welcome.  31 years is a very long time, I'm sure you miss it, thanks for your service.  I see you were USAF.  I was only in 8 and a half years.  My second assignment was a joint unit on MacDill AFB.  Great duty for a soldier.  Yes, I was Airborne.
