Help Pick Next Leatherman

I'm going to get another Leatherman multitool and I'm undecided of which one to get.  I thought I would see what other members would get if in the same circumstances.  Yeah, yeah.........I know......"All of them".  That would be nice but it's not my reality.  I have a few in mind that are at the top of my list for "next Leatherman", singular.  The front runners are:  Crunch, Charge AL, Sideclip, Pulse, Flair and Original Super Tool.  Here are the Leatherman's I own now:

I don't want a Pocket Tool or a Keychain Tool.  Obviously the current production models, Crunch & Charge AL, will be easier and cheaper to get.  I'm leaning toward the Crunch but I would find any opinions interesting.  Thanks

That's a toughy.

The Crunch seems to be the one you don't have anything similar too - the others are all a variation on what you have, so that's what I'd go for I think.
I used to come here a lot.

I'd go for one of the old school Leatherman's myself ('cos I like them) so I'm going to say Pulse or original Supertool.  I don't think you'd be unhappy with either of those as they both still stand up well in comparison to other tools IMO.

PS Pulse has to be my favourite tool outside of SAKs. :)

Anyone else notice Pulses are getting harder to find/more expensive? It is one of the "must haves" for any collection and a fine user too.  I do fancy a Supertool 200.

Eventually your'll have them all, so why not the Crunch or the Pulse to start with..? :)

The Crunch is an amazing tool and I find myself carrying it more and more.  I say that and the sideclip.

The Original Super Tool gets my vote :tu: Probably my most fav MT period :o :D The Crunch will also get an honorable mention as a second for me as well :tu:

Crunch.  You will simply not be satisfied until you get one. All the other tools are somewhat similar, but the Crunch, that's a horse of a different colo(u)r.

Pulse's & Sideclip's are not getting any cheaper , although there have been some good deals from members here on Sideclips.No Supertool 200  :o :o :o :D.

OK 1. get a Flair if you can (bit like hens teeth , grab one when you can)
     2. get a Pulse , one of my favorite LM's, very NICE.
Or just get a Crunch they are the cleverest LM MT's ever made IMHO.


THEN get a SuperTool , Supertool 200 , Sideclip :D :D :D :D

6 + months ago there used to be heaps of new 'Windows' etched Pulses for sale, I have not looked recently but I think Pulses are becoming a little thin on the ground  :think: :think:

yeah, I've got a Surge.  I've had one since they came out.  My list of Leatherman's is on the first page of the thread. 


I really want to get a Crunch more and more, but I'm also torn about getting something that is discontinued.  I'm going to have to figure something out that my wife won't notice.   ;)
