Was yours boxed or vacuum-packed?

Glad to hear you like it. It is an impressive tool.

Leatherman series articles

Got mine from Cabelas. I really wish that it came in a box, for nothing else but display.

I've been seriously considering on getting one but I can't bring myself to buy it because it is very similar to the Core and I love my Core. In your opinion do you feel it is a significant improvement?

honestly? no, it does have some nice improvements but if you have a core and love it i dont see why would you need a ST300 unless you do a LOT of wire cutting :)

Yup, sums it up for me too. A Core with some "nice to have" added bits.
