I've just gotten an email from Leatherman, and they'd like to toss their hat in the pot as well.  We will now be adding to the list, one Limited Edition Damascus Wave:

Leatherman’s most popular multi-tool is now available with process-intensive Damascus steel. Forged and etched, this elegant pattern is featured on the Wave’s outside-accessible straight and serrated knives. Handles have DLC coating in a rich coffee color with a limited-edition logo. Only 1000 Damascus Wave tools will be produced in 2009.

Tools:

    * Damascus Knife
    * Damascus Serrated Knife
    * Needlenose Pliers
    * Regular Pliers
    * Wire Cutters
    * Hard-wire Cutters
    * Wire Stripper
    * Medium Screwdriver
    * Large Bit Driver
    * Small Bit Driver
    * Scissors
    * Wood/Metal File
    * Diamond-coated File
    * Saw
    * Bottle Opener
    * Can Opener
    * 8 in | 19 cm Ruler
    * INCLUDED BITS: Phillips and Flat Tip Bit, Eyeglasses Screwdriver Bit, Phillips #1-2 and Screwdriver 3/16” Bit

Features:

    * DLC Coating for Scratch and Corrosion Resistance
    * 100% Stainless Steel Body
    * Premium Gift Box
    * Lanyard Ring
    * Premium Leather Sheath

Measurements:

    * Closed Length: 4 in | 10 cm
    * Weight: 8.5 oz | 241 g

Which puts us here:

Powerlock: $60 - Benner
CAT #1:  $45 - multimat
CAT #2:  $50 - rp252
BO Wave:  $70 - rp252
Neck Knife:  $40 - Greatest Moderator Ever!
Wenger EVO 10:  $30- WH867
LM Fuse:  $25 - geoemt
LM KF4:  $70 - geoemt
Damascus Wave: $150- Defender

Spyderco S:

I think if we keep all this going we may end up continuously adding/bidding for a long time, so I am going to end the first 4 auctions in 24 hours so we can start getting some money to the people who need it!

So, Powerlock, 2x CAT tools and the BO wave closing in 24 hours, the rest we'll leave open until the end of the weekend?  How does that sound?

Sounds good Grant.

Just remember for the winners to send the funds to Grant, and send me your address via PM so I can send the CATs to their respective winners. Only when Grant says it is over though. :)

Good job everyone.  :salute:

Sunday night.

I will PM everyone with PP info as soon as I get it.  because of the international/cross border fees of sending the money to me then me forwarding it to the Red Cross, I have enlisted the aid of a US member who is willing to help, and saving a few dollars on fees- dollars that can be sent on to the people who need it, not the people at PP who don't!
