What do you guys use to remove the logos... without damaging the finish of the MT itself?Brasso and patience?
I did not like having Microsoft branding on my LM Pulse , so I used my Dremal . See Here http://forum.multitool.org/index.php/topic,6375.0.html

See Here http://forum.multitool.org/index.php/topic,6375.0.htmlWas the Windows logo actually etched or was it more of a paint? The job you did looks great. A bit shinier that the rest of the tool but definitely a good job. I was recently looking at the same Pulse with the Windows logo on eBay but passed. Now with your directions I won't be as shy about getting an MT with a logo on it. Thanks for the help.1Jump2Many
Correction!I've got a couple of Bears with "MAC tools" etched on them - which I elected to leave alone as they don't bother me too much.

Hypothetical question because I'm sure you have EVERY MT ever made, if you didn't have a particular retired tool and found it on eBay, brand new, at a decent price, would you buy it? I want to get the retired Leatherman tools I don't already have and it seems if you want one in NIB or Mint condition they are the promotional ones. The thing is, I won't be using them though. If I wanted an Original Super Tool because I just had to have one and was going to use it as an every day tool I wouldn't care if the logo was for a tampon brand. But I want to get these retired MT's for collecting purposes and want them in mint condition. I guess I will have to either live with a logo or have more patience. 1Jump2Many
...... is it actually owning the MT's or the thrill of the chase?
I've been on a spree the last couple days, or at least a spree for me. I bought an Original Super Tool and last night I bought a Pulse. Now all I need is a Sideclip, Flair and a Super Tool 200 to round out my retired Leatherman list. The Sideclip is my next target, it is the one I have wanted the most. 1Jump2Many

I'm not interested in the Charge XTi or Ti. I have a Charge TTi and will eventually pickup a Charge AL. As far as Pocket-Size retired tools, ahhhh, they don't really interest me. Maybe after I've gotten everything else I want. It's all about priorities, and I'm still trying to figure them out. 1Jump2Many
1J2M if you get a chance to handle a Juice you should , they are very cool tools mate .
