In this week's CT flyer, Leatherman Skeletool is 20% off.  The regular price is $69.99 CAD but this week it's $55.99 CAD.  Other multitools between $89.99 to $119.99 are also 20% off.  The website doesn't list what's on sale but I'm guessing it's the Core ($89.99) and Surge ($119.99).

On a semi related note Buck 110 is down to $36, which is a really good price even compare to u.s. source.

Yeah I saw that 110 today for the same price.  I was staring at it deep in thought then my GF said "You don't
need it" and I stared at it some more then walked away resisting the temp.  :D

Now go back tomorrow without her.  ;)

I'm looking over stuff online right now trying to decide if I should go for it. The weight is a killer thou, it's heavier than my leatherman fuse!

Yeah I just might go get it and wear it around tomorrow and see if she notices?  ::) :P

Wait...your girlfriend is telling you that...your not even married yet. :o

Hmmmm....

The next time she is staring at something she wants...say the same thing to her and see what the response will be.
A little Leatherman information.

At $36 CAD, I would do it, no matter what the wifey says... :)
I looked around and "on sale" here in DK, The 110 would cost approx. $85 CAD... >:(
Let her know it's an investment...  ;)

Still haven't decided :(, can't get over the weight, it's almost like carrying a leatherman wave loose in pocket (don't like belt carry). I'll go to the store tomorrow and see if it appeals to me in person.

Arrggh! You guys are giving me the 110 lust as well.  :ahhh  :D

The 110 is way to heavy for me to edc regularly, but I really want one anyway.  :P

I have been hunting around a bit, but I can't quite figure out how good a deal this is. There seem to be quite a few on eBay.

What do you guys think a Buck 110 would normally go for including shipping to Canada?

@jzmtl: I would trust your instincts about the weight. At that price, it's cheap enough to just buy for your collection though if you really like it.

Otherwise, perhaps you could look for a 112 Ranger? Better to pay more and get a knife you will use if you are not a collector.

The u.s. store I usually use is new grahams, which has the nylon sheather version for $30. Plus shipping it's $36 US which works out to be only a few dollars less than CT price. Part of the appeal is the history with this model thou so that's lost on 112.

My experience has been that if your skeptical or unsure don't buy it.  However, I doubt you will get anything newer on Ebay and have it shipped to Canada for much cheaper than it's offered at Canada Tire.  :)
It's a great deal they have there but not a "can't pass it up" kind of steal!

Yeah I finally decided to pass it. I've passed on 5.5 oz folder because of the weight before, and this is 7.2 oz. Like you said it's not that good of a deal for me to ignore weight. On well, maybe next time.

yeah for sure!  ;)

I ended up grabbing a nice Plano tackle box with multi-drawers from Wamlart and can now house my tools and
knives in one location.  I was surprised to find a nice sized one with slide-outs instead of that tiered type of
box.
