What's your oldest MT that you still EDC?

I still have a '93 Tinker, though it's been retired (heirloom). I use a newer Tinker. The only differences between the two are the pin hole in the scales and the slot in the phillips driver.

Pretty impressive. I have had my Micra, I would say about a month now, and it is a bit more banged up then yours! Great little tool though! And at the cost I don't mind putting it through its paces on a regular basis.

Speaking of Micra's, did any of you notice Smitty44's thread about K-Mart selling Micra's for $9.  :tu:  I know K-Mart's aren't as plentiful as they used to be, but if you have one near you it's a great deal.  I have one not too far from where I live.  I went to see if they were $9.  The price on the packaging said the Reduced Price was $15 so I took a couple up to the checkout line and had them run a price check and sure enough, they were $9.  I already had a couple stainless ones and a Special Edition Red, White & Blue but I couldn't pass up a Micra for $9!  I bought two for a rainy day.  One stainless and one with the blue plastic over the stainless handles.  I was at Target today and they had them for $18.88.  So if you like Micra's and have a K-Mart near you, get'em while they're hot.

Yeah, but we all know where mike likes to hang his keys from...   ???

Good job with the no rust mate :tu:  That pic makes the Micra look almost new :)

I have a couple of 1980's era SAKs that I carry.  A Champion, a Compact and a Golfer come to mind.  All second hand though, so not carried since new. :-\

The tool I've had longest (that I still have) would be a Swisschamp, which is about 12 or 13 years. I thought it was longer than that originally, but I've gotten something confused along the way...

The oldest multi I've got would be a PST, which although not date-stamped, must be '83 - '85.
I used to come here a lot.

My oldest SAK is my Victorinox Modeler.  I bought it new in August of 1985.

My oldest MT is my Leatherman PST.  I bought it sometime in mid to late 1990.

I still have them both.  The PST is in very good condition.  The Modeler I sent to Victorinox in Connecticut to have refurbished.  I wasn't pleased of the job they did.  Pretty poor job they did in CT.
