Kanger Tool. A Japanes SwissCard ???
on: October 11, 2009, 04:57:50 PM
A local Aussie Ebay seller had this & I snagged it for $10 , cause it looked a bit interesting  :D :D.It is called 'Kanger' & has stainless steel Japan PAT.P etched on it.

Shiny side , note the blade angle.

Tool came in this nice felt lined leather sheath. Sheath has holes to pass a belt through so that it can be belt carried .It seems to be very high quality tool & very pretty to look at (pics do not do it justice).

Has anyone else seen one of these

Apologizes for some of the pics being blurry  :( :(

I have one of these too and find it really much too heavy. It is well built and designed but the fact  that it is made out of all metal means it will not make it in my EDC wear.

I'd never seen one until someone over at British Blades posted a photo with one in it as part of a collection run down. I believe he referred to is a Schlieper tool and an eBay search turned up another example:

Vintage Carl Schlieper Knife

Besides the difference in the names/etching the Ebay one looks the same as my one
