I like moleskines in theory, I don't like them in price. Your standard, a5 lined or blank moleskine runs $40-$50 in these parts.
I can get knockoffs for around $15, and thus use those for preference.
(I have my moleskine-copy in my bag or car, and an A7 notebook in my pocket (I tend to prefer ones with tear-out pages, but have been known to use others)
As a side complaint - They don't seem to make a moleskines/moleskine copies with graph lines. I'm a technician, not a poet, give me graph paper!
