I just got my first of two riveted PSTs. After looking at the PST Chronology Project, it would appear mine was made between 85 to 89 in Japan.

Knife blade has Leatherman Japan on it. Handle has Leatherman Tool Reg'd TM 1325473. I looked in the chronology thread after not seeing any date codes inside the handles.

Great score Chako! :tu: (actually all of the riveted PST's were made in Japan, although they don't all say Japan on the knife blade)

So how about your other one? :)

Chako, what is the date code?  Can you give a better pic of the file?  It looks a little different, almost a chromed color and early shaped.  Maybe it is a very early version.

There are no date codes in the handles, and the file just caught the reflected light from my bounced flash. It isn't chromed at all.

Sorry Pacu, I don't like to post Leatherman tools in the Swiss section unless accompanied by some SAKs.

Riveted ones (from what we have seen here) don't have date codes.
