Well I got a message from Bob out in the woods- it seems the trip has already been successful!  I don't know what time it was exactly when he arrived, or when he got this, but I'd say he couldn't have been there long before he got off his first shot!

Now he's got to hang around with this guy for the next week and hope to heck the coyotes don't come calling!

I sent him a text message yesterday (I think he turns his phone on for a quick message to his family every evening) asking if he missed coffee, toilet paper and central heating yet.  His response, word for word was:

Quote
Gawd yes!! Remind me of this if I start making plans again next year!

I've just sent him another message to let him know we are wondering how he's making out.  When/if I get a response (battery limitations you know!) I will post it here for everyone!

If he did he'd have to settle for instant.  There's no phone, no lights, no motor cars, not a single luxury......  :D

Bob's alive and well.  He seems to be enjoying himself, and had the opportunity to take another buck yesterday, but decided against it as dragging two out of the woods would be a pain in the bum.
