I think the Buck X-tract is quite underrated for what it is and for the price it is.

Agreed.  The X-tract is both a wonderful multitool as well as a great folding knife by its own right.

I'll also add, I think the VIC Super Tinker gets overlooked a lot of times.  I don't see it getting the acclaim other SAK's, like the Farmer and Climber, get and I think it's a shame, because the ST is a marvelous tool with a decent array of tools.

The Wenger Pocket Tool Chest. Seriously, this thing is waaay underrated. Besides myself, I haven't heard of anyone even mentioning the thing. It is only slightly bigger than a vic classic and is massively more useful without having all the useless implements and bulk that the vic minichamp has.

And for the single tool category: Wenger scissors. The serrations are great for cutting and have a nice grip to things so they don't slip out. I've never broken a Wenger scissor spring. I've broken a couple of vics. (granted vic's lil spring is pretty easy to replace...)

Yay Wenger Pocket Tool Chest!!!

I've always wanted one but never got around to buying one...

+1 on the Buck X-Tract - one of my most used tools.

+1 on the Super Tinker - one of the best 3 layer SAKs.

Another superb 3 layer is the Mechanic, which seems to not get a lot of love on MTO.

Plain old TINKER doesn't seem to get a lot of respect on MTO.  IMO TINKER is the best SAK Vic has ever made.

Lastly, the LM Blast is my favorite LM model currently in production.  IMO the Blast represents the best combination of function and weight of any LM model.  HUGE fucntionality for its weight, and reasonably priced to boot.  I actually like the Blast's Zytel inserts.  Its inside opening tools are a worthy tradeoff for more functionality and a lower price.

+1 on the Blast.  It amazes that you can get three Blasts for the price of a Skeletool, when one Blast has twice as many tools.  The Blast may not be in my EDC, but it's by far my favorite LM.

I really need to try a blast one of these days but i'm so happy with Pulse as an alternative to the Wave that I just haven't brought myself to do it yet.  Nothing against it, I just love my Pulse.  I know that a while back I was happy with my Wave again, but...eh I just can't make up my mind.   :ahhh

I have both the Blast and the Pulse, and the Blast doesn't even get a look-in.  Not that it's a bad tool but the Pulse is just so much more compact.

The Tourist and Tinker Small don't get mentioned much, they work every bit as well as the Spartan and Tinker but at 84mm are even more pocket friendly.
Be excellent to each other and always know where your towel is.

The most underrated tool is the common butter knife

Clutch has been EDCed since I got it.

Pliers are great - within their limitations - and I've been very glad to have them on a number of occasions.

Slothead and Phillips drivers have worked well for me.

And, I much prefer the Clutch tweezers to SAK tweezers.

I think I still prefer SAK tweezers over the Clutch's, but I certainly prefer the Clutch's tweezers over those on a Micra.  Since getting some sliver grippers though, all tweezers on tools have become pretty much redundant anyway.
I'm back!!
