Mr. Wenger Visits the Machine Shop :tool:

Hi boys and girls! :) Today I visited a real live machine shop, where they use fancy machinery to make all sorts of stuff out of solid metal. :tu:

Here's me peeking in the window of a new CNC lathe. I wonder if they can make brass bushings for SAK mods on this thing?

Wow, some of the parts they make here are really huge! :salute:

These little aluminum dealies are for the electronics industry. (and they apparently breed like rabbits, because there are thousands of them around this place) ::)

Ack! Get me out of this chip bin before I get melted down and made into a cheap knockoff! :ahhh

Ugh! Would someone turn off this big magnet please so I can finish my tour? >:(

Hanging with some really sharp dudes in the milling department. 8)

Whee! Who says playing shadow puppets is only for kids! :D

Probe me? Why do you need to probe me?! :o

Hello! I'm an 85mm SAK! What did you expect? ::) :D

I always expected this passaround to take a long time.  Originally I was thinking around 2 years, and then doing a giveaway with all the participants involved (excluding myself) and maybe getting Tinnie to make some custom scales for the winner.  Now that this passaround is on its way again I am thinking of doing a Mora 2000 passaround.  We hear a lot about these knives, but few people have actually ever used one, and with warm weather just around the corner, I think it would be a good idea.  Check out the edged tools section to sign up.

Well guys I just realized Ive kept the SAK a little longer than I should have....1 month. I am terribly sorry for that. I do have some good pics and I believe WH867 gets it next. I apologize for having it so long but I have enjoyed it.

Im putting the pics together (some are on the camera some on the phone) and will get them up shortly.
