I have been on the back of skateboard being towed by a bike...that didnt end well, i never did figure out how to go round corners, left a nice little scar down the side of my face for a couple of years though!

When I was a little kid (about 7-8) we used to have bike jousting.  It was great until our parents found out what we were doing.  After that we just kept everything under wraps when we were doing anything that we should not have been doing.

That sounds like a right laugh, we should do it again as adult's but on tandems, one person riding, the other fighting :D

Genius idea! And at least if any of the bikes break we should have enough tools between us to put it back together!

We always used broomsticks.  We also fought as knights in the same manner using the galvanized trash can lids as sheilds.  Then one of us though it would be a great idea to start using numchucks, bowstaffs, and the like.  We beat the hell out of one another.

The priest of the church I belong to was the priest in one of the churches in Ironton a few years ago.  I am familliar with that area.  My friends and I were looking for a place to eat one night and we ended up driving through Ironton.  Whatever county Ashland is in is a dry county and it really sucked to not have beer.  Anyway, we ended up across the river and it took us quite a while to find our way back to the hotel.  You are no more than 3 hours from where I live.  I like that area of Ohio.

Sledding is fun going down the hills but walking up them is a bitch.
The good news nowadays is that certain precincts in Ashland are wet and rigorous restrictions are in place to keep out the dives and honky-tonks that gave Ironton the skull-cracker reputation it has.
3 hours you say? We may be able to set up some kind of meet for forumites in the surrounding area.

We used to go out back of town in the hills and play Army with BB guns and safety glasses....does that count?

I've got mixed feelings about that...it seems like over the past year I've been compensating for being so safe for the past 3 decades ???

As Bison56 was mentioning earlier BB gun fights were common.  We ended that after some jackass that was older than most of us was going to shoot me and my friends with 10pumps from his pellet gun because he wanted to be a bully.  He did not get the chance to shoot me because I grabbed his gun and smashed into about 5 pieces and me and my budies took off into the woods.  To this day he and I dont get along everytime he sees me he still wants to start with me and now that I am older I keep telling him to bring it on, for some reason he has not taken me up on the offer to go play. :)
