Survival knife review!

I'm sure we've all seen the 1980's commercial for the super "420 molecular stainless" survival knife, here's a review for it, interesting to see it up close and even bigger piece of crap than the commercial showed.
If you haven't thou watch the second video first!

Same here.
That review is bang on. Mine didn't last very long in my youth. The handle came away from the blade on a short camping trip with the family after owning it for all of 2 weeks!

I still have mine but the sheath and "survival gear" from the handle is long gone. I use it to dig in the dirt and practice my sharping skills on it.
I have the camo version and the compass still works. I can't even remember when I got it but think it was a Christmas gift.

I have to admit I really wanted one as a kid; luckily my Dad wouldn't let me get one and pointed me towards a simple fixed blade.

Yeah, I had 1. As well as nice, (as in respectably expensive) throwing stars & knives, & a couple push daggers. My oldest brother was a knife dealer, & I thought I was Rambo for a couple years.

Even if there was such a period in my life I would never admit to it.
I think the only sword I have was a present from a friend... I guess the big knives though...
Atleast I've never bought a survival knife. =P
Got those frog legs.

Something similar was in a box of knives someone tried to sell me.
"I've got some knives if you wanna take a look...like old army knives."
"Sure!"
It was a box of about 10-12 fantasy/garbage knives you'd see at flea markets
Anyways if I was 13 that cheap hollow handled knife would have been my holy grail
