Thoughts on the Gerber Crucial.
on: November 14, 2009, 09:26:39 PM
I carry a powerassist at work and at home, its not too heavy for me because I used to carrying it.  I am looking for a lightweight to medium weight MT for summer carry in when I am wearing shorts.  I have seen this in a local sporting goods store and it looks pretty cool.  I especially like the beener clip for attachment to beltloops.

Thanks, that was a good review.  I wonder if gerber has corrected th wire cutter yet.  Like I said it will be for light to medium duty tasks no heavy work.  I was just looking to add a pliers based tool to my summer off duty carry.  I already carry a Paramili as my dedicated folder and my SAK farmer, so the crucial would just be something to drop in my cargo pocket.

Hi cb4life_34,

You might want to take a look at the Leatherman Skeletool and Skeletool CX.

Best - Joe
