Can't believe it. I passed on an Atwood sale...
on: November 14, 2009, 11:29:36 PM
G3 Prybabies. I hit his blog when the link was still active.  Looking at them, I realized I had all those tools covered already  :-\.

Not sure what this means, though...

Am I coming near the end of my Atwood phase already?  Honestly, my JDR Pyrhana opens bottles better.  I have a Funnybone and Atwrench which cover eveything the Prybaby has.  My other Atwoods seem much more functional OR unique (like the rainbow Perfbaby! ).

I don't know...

Seems like the Earth is off its axis

 :D  :-\

Well, as long as it was panic and not just anxiety, then it's ok.

OMG!

Actually I'm not at all sold in the little one-piece tool idea (superbly made as the Atwoods are) I just don't miss not having one in my life.

Am I correct in thinking that you haven't really tried one though?  These things have to be carried to be appreciated, and I am sure if you pocketed one just for a couple of days you would see how handy these things really can be and you'll be hooked like the rest of us.  :D

To be fair though, only me, you, Mike and AHB post in that thread and AHB only does to give me grief about the lack of pictures.  :D

You are absolutely correct I don't have one.  And it's not that I can't see the appeal or the usefulness it's just that I've never once thought "what I need is a really small pry bar/oxygen bottle key/spanner" because all that can be covered by my normal EDC anyway.

I'm not bashing them particularly but I don't feel the urge to spend £10 on one let alone more. :-\

My point was neither did I until I had one, but now I won't go anywhere without it.  And I am not meaning the GasBaby with the O2 wrench as that will have no use to 99% of the people here I expect, I was referring to 1 piece tools in general.
