Can someone recommend a good tool forum?

Do you mean general tools, ala wrenches, pliers, hammers, etc.?

Yes.

This is the best my limited searches in the past turned up: http://www.papawswrench.com/vboard/index.php

My current theory is that, unlike this great place, most people discuss general tools in context to another hobby...mechanics, woodwork, home repair, etc...because I've never been able to find a forum as nice as this place for Craftsman, Kobalt, or Stanely tools.  The closest, aside from that first like, is the Popular Mechanics website, which has articles and comments.  The closest, including this website, has been the EDC/Gadget forum, where people have answered my questions about toolboxes, brand names in regards to regular tools.

If you find anything, please let me know. :)

I never thought of using the edc/gadget forum I think I'll give that a try. Maybe in the future we could have a dedicated forum to one use tools. I know I would use it a lot.

Here's one.  Seems to be filled with mechanics, but the discussions look interesting:

I finally found one. The garage journal forum when reading on there how much some members like USA made tools over Chinese ones I realised I would fit in good there.  :D Still I can't help wishing there was a dedicated tool forum like here, with the same members, ran by the same people, etc.
