Vic Huntsman (nylon handles)
Vic Super Tinker (silvertech handles)
Wenger Traveler
Wenger Pocket Tool Chest

These four knives probably account for 99%  of my carry time.

The old Vic Champion on the right sits close at hand in the desk drawer.

Victorinox Ranger
Victorinox Champion Plus
Victorinox Swisstool X
Victorinox Swistool Spirit X
Victorinox Minichamp

I like the 111m and 130mm sizes but haven't found a specific model with that dynamite config/color combo. Also want to look into the Wenger RangerGrip series.

Top 10 is too tough for me, and for my top 5, I'm talking about SAKs I actually own only.

Craftsman (has the v3 metal file which, though not ideal, can be used as a nail file, which is something I like about it)

Compact "Shiela Sexsmith" on a pocket hanger. This is mainly for shipping/post office runs and cutting cardboard boxes.

CyberTool 34 with the 4 other bits from the XAVT (I mainly use this on electronics, guitars, etc)

Rambler (I use this along with other SAKs that don't have a nail file, plus I like its hand feel for the mini phillips, CyberTool is kind of clunky when using the mini phillips bit.)

84mm Mod (scissors, saw, nail file, blade, openers, CS and reamer, nylon scales) Scissors and nail file are my fave tools. This is my hiking/outdoors SAK.

Honorable mentions:

MiniChamp with tweezers/pen combo (I recently got it, not sure if I really need all the extra tools aside from the 4 Rambler tools)

Recent model Camping Ranger "Nacho" (I use this for the new metal file, but there's no suitable nail file on it so I dont use it too often)

Choose only 5...  :ahhh Well I suppose I'll try...

Farmer X
My favourite for outdoors/camping... built like a tank with thick tools, easy to clean on the go, comfortable in pocket and in hand. Inline awl is excellent. Works well for EDC due to size and inclusion of scissors.

Woodsman
Second favourite for outdoors but also one of the best EDCs. It's an Explorer (one of the best urban EDCs) plus the wood saw, making it an Explorer+Huntsman combination. Wish they still made it... substitute would be Explorer though for current production models.

CyberTool 34/M
Great EDC that can accomplish pretty much everything I do with regards to tinkering and fixing things, with the bit driver, pliers, and micro-screwdriver. My most EDC'd for work (electrical engineering). I even regularly use the pin on it (and will probably add a second) as a post for contacts.

Classic SD Alox
The barebones kit with small scissors, blade, nail file, and screw driver -- unbelievably useful, but the reason it's my favourite: near zero carrying cost, at 6mm thick and 17g weight. You can have this on your keys, in a wallet, heck in your sock, in swim shorts, etc... and it never impedes you. Yet you're prepared for many a task. It also frees you from having scissors on your main SAK if you want to pair it. They just released like a dozen new colours for it too. And before you mention that you lose the toothpick and tweezers, if you want to carry those, you can just add those to your wallet as well. Love it!

Manager
Probably the smallest 'complete package' in my mind. One of the best travel companions: legal and considered harmless by everyone, everywhere. Very compact but has everything you need. The small Phillips driver is very useful for repairing electronics, opening battery compartments, etc. Personally I'd have the pen over the toothpick as I can carry those in my wallet (at no carry cost), whereas a pen generally takes up more space and aren't very pocketable.

Some runner-ups: Handyman (feels great in-hand, tons of utitilty), Ranger (Handyman without pliers.. very tool-dense), Executive (a more useable Classic), SwissChamp (a must-have, the big daddy), Tinker Small (such a nice carry/user... pairs well with Classic SD Alox!), Super Tinker (ideal EDC for many), Bantam Alox (incredibly thin and light.. little carry cost but basic kit).

Okay I'll leave it there.  :D

1. Ranger
2. Manager
3. Compact
4. Explorer
5. Executive

That is, only considering current-ish models. If we allow discontinued models/mods then all hell breaks loose (84mm scissors anyone?)

When I see threads like this I say to myself, SELF, this should be rather easy.  Then of course I begin to compile my list and

No particular order.

Explorer.
Manager or Midnight manager if thats ok.
Champion.
Farmer.
Tinker.

I struggled with a couple.  While I like the Tinker I could have easily said Recruit.  I also could have easily said Swisschamp over Champion.

I better post my picks before I change my mind......
