Fractionally more than normal
Spelling and grammar? Well, english is not my mother tongue so every post is a bet. And yet it's an adventure full of fun and plot twists: for instance, how come the spell checker in Firefox is saying to me, just right now, that 'english' is wrong? I mean, how can it be wrong? It's the first english word you learn!A.
Honestly I'm amazed as to the level of English we get form non-native speakers. I studied German at school and have never had to use it since, so now I can barely think of individual words let alone put down a sentence that would make any kind of sense.

Don't worry Gareth, NOBODY remembers the German they learnt in school.. Ich Heisse.... Yep, that's about it...

Yep, that's about it...Without any disrespect to the Germans, I'd have been so much better learning French or Spanish. In my life I have been called on to try and speak German once, and once only (it was a long time ago so I just about managed).
Why are online translators so bad at translating? Example...English: Help! Mike is looking at my Bratwurst!Babelfish German: Hilfe! Mike betrachtet meine Bratwurst!Back to English: Assistance! Mike regards my fried sausage! You would think you would get the same phrase back (Image removed from quote.)
Babelfish German: Hilfe! Mike betrachtet meine Bratwurst![/b]

I'm thinking of making all my posts in Babelfish...All your Bratwurst are belong to us!
