OK, I have finally HAD IT with the Miltec (even though its green).....I am FED UP of the damn cap coming loose from the body.  In any way I carry it this happens again and again.

I have ruined my favourite pair of jeans (rear right pocket carry), my favourite cargo shorts (left cargo pocket carry) and if it weren't for my suit being BLACK (and the ink not showing up) that would have gone as well.

However, this has not happened once with the Schrade.  It was cheaper but works FAR better.

Sorry gang but I am too pi~@ed off to write any more on the Miltec.

If you need a stylus pen.....go with the cheaper one.

Wow, that's interesting.... is there a chance that maybe you got a bad one?  Have you tried contacting Mil Tac?

Not that I'm defending them, just wondering if maybe there was some way of rectifying the situation.

For the price I'd expect them to be extensively tested by monkeys...

But I'd still wanna know if this is a design flaw or just a machining error? Or what? =o

It might be a duff one. I've got a Mil-tac (in a better colour ) and don't have any trouble with the lid coming off at all. I do hate the standard cartridge though.
