I thought this might amuse, especially the bar ends ;)

I quite like the helmet though

Those bar ends are cool...until you crash and one pops your knee cap off.  :P

Imagine taking a swipe down a glossy black Rolls Royce or Bentley. >:D

I'd like to think that using them is reserved for when some arse has nearly killed you in the first place - they deserve to lose paint for that in my book  :)

I like the phone charger.. great idea  :tu:
There's been versions of that blender doing the rounds for a while - saw some at festivals this summer here. Also a very clever idea :D

My experience of cyclists suggests that most of the "near misses" they experience are down to their own stupidity, but I'm sure that a few of them have some road sense :P

I certainly don't buy the idea that all motorists are out to get them, and many cyclists seem to have a huge chip on their shoulder about people who drive cars. This is why I want a set of bull-bars. With spikes. And a Hummer.
I used to come here a lot.

Lol. I've not got anything against cyling or cyclists per se, but it does bug me the way that some of them ride like lunatics between traffic and then complain when drivers don't see them.

I see it as a bit like playing chicken with an oncoming train, then blaming the train driver for not swerving......

LOL!  Those are awesome!  That helmet itself is priceless.  The handle bar thing...eh, I don't know that they'd do me much good.  Everytime I almost get him it's by gravel or coal trucks...I don't think they care if they get scratched and if they are close enough TO get scratched I'm either really hurtin' or dead.  I hate coal trucks!  I don't trust the town drivers at all (bunch of crazy college students) and they is no bike lane or anything so I ride a lot  on the rail trail or the "back roads".  There really is no shoulder to speak of in some places but I'm a conscientious cyclist and will wave cars on around me and such and try to get out of the way when the trucks come.  They seem to think it's funny to run me off the road.  Sucks, but what can ya do?  The only time I ever got into with a driver and did damage to their car (a little dent in the door) is when I was riding up a hill that had a really really wide shoulder.  I was not in the way of traffic at all...just minding my business.  These girls in a small SUV decided to come over onto the shoulder yelliing stuff at me and tried to run me off the into the drainage ditch.  I kicked the door (this was before I had clipless pedals).  At the top of the hill they parked got out and started yelling at me.  I told them that if they really wanted to dispute it we could go right over to the police station (which we were in front of) and explain to them why I was close enough to kick their door in the first place.  LOL!  That shut them up.  I rode up to the police station just in case they would be laying in wait somewhere down the road then went home.  Stupid colorful enunciation colorful enunciation.  LOL.

Whoa, that might have ended much worse. :-\

Around here the cars and trucks seem to respect the cyclists for the most part, and vice versa. (haven't heard any complaints anyhow, and I do both)

Am I the only one that thinks the helmet looks awefully similar to an egg slicer?! I'd also suspect it''d end up with similar results, just to the ol' brainpan instead of a soft boiled.

Yeah, it could have and believe me I was ready to just throw my bike at them and run, or turn around and go back down the hill (which would have truly sucked because it's a big long hill and takes me forever to climb it)  :D  For the most part I just have to deal with coal trucks and stupid people yelling at me.  I don't really like the rail trail because I'm usually by myself and cell phone doesn't work down by the river once you get a 2 miles outside of town.  And there is nothing down there but some scary people who apparently like to mug cyclists and walkers.  So I stick to the road where traffic isn't insane but there are houses and small stores and such all along the way.  In Charleston it's way different.  There are bike lanes and wide shoulders and people aren't as nuts as up here.  I've had very few incidents in Charleston.  Only been hit once and I promise it was the driver's fault.  If I'd been in a car at the time she pulled her little stunt she'd have been the one hurt, not me and it still would have been her fault.  :D

I like that battery thing.  And a bike powered blender?  Seriously??  That helmet looks like it would hurt if put to the test.  It looks like one of those tomato slicer things they advertise.  Ouch!  But the built in shades are kind of cool...I can't wear sunglasses so that would be kind of nice, maybe.
