I bought a blue Pioneer that the previous owner had removed the nub. Loved it so I removed the nub on my Pioneer X and LOVE IT!!!!  I carry the PX with a Nite Ize Hip Clip slapped on it. It’s heavenly!!!!

I'm interested in whether removing the nub is sufficient for a modding badge.  :D

I grind them off any 93mm that may be daily carried. For EDC, I don't put knives that large on my keys, and I only use lanyards if out in the woods.

I agree with zoidberg, use a few layers of tape, and even then go slow. As you can see from the red farmer, even the rape didn't stop me from messing up the scale a bit. That was probably the 1st I ever did. The pioneer was much better, not that you can tell now after all the wear.
