No international postage option on EDC Source anymore?

yes, due to the way the new version works, the old mod that allowed you to add postage types no longer works. however I believe you can edit the invoices now and do combined postage etc

Can it have some lumped together options i.e. postage to Europe

Of course I could just do a set cost for worldwide shipment but I like to do postage at cost.  Seems the fairest system if the most complicated

It would make a lot more sense.  I really don't want to go down the entire country list filling in postage options for each auction.

I think I may have to move to a one size fits all approach to postage or I'll go (a little more) bonkers

Obviously I haven't got a clue ...

... but I would imagine its just pulling the postage options from a list.  Perhaps just finding where said list is stored open it up in your favourite editor and wack an extra couple of lines at the top?

Hmm, though that would have to match up with the county listed when a user registered in order to show correct postage.  So something a bit smarter would be required.

If I could code I'd offer to help but I can't so I won't, sorry.

while you are correct, I have no idea where it's pulling the table from. I'm still looking into it.

The mod is back in place now, however, it does not seem you can add new postage methods to an existing auction...

I think this option is built in.  I have just written a manual describing how to do it, and I will post it momentarily.  Check it out and let me know if it's what you need/want.

have just added a modification to how that works... Grant, you'll have to update your howto slightly, the fixed version doesn't have a popup anymore, and works for me too (I'm not having the issue I had before)

OK, had a fiddle.  When relisting an auction there was no change from the old system. So tried putting a new item up, again no change. 

Went into it from the drop down menu.. First up, its in USD and also it only seems to allow you to create rules for how much extra to charge if a package is going elsewhere other than domestic.  That would alter from auction to auction 

I can see myself going for a fixed postage rate irrespective of destination (except on heavy items).  Not really how I like to do things but it'll make life much easier

Are you sure you are looking at the right thing?  You can set prices for virtually any region, and you define the regions.

In fact, there are 79 different regions listed for the UK alone.  You have to set it in the Members section though, not from the auction page.  Set it up once, and it's always set up, rather than trying to re-do it every time.

Or am I missing something?
