It kinda comes and goes, some times I drop in and there isn't a harsh word to read.  Other times guys seem to be jumping down each others throats for no reason at all. :-\
Be excellent to each other and always know where your towel is.

There's some good info on the site and I have on occasion lurked around but (probably just me) there seems to be a bit of an "edge" to the place

Is it just me or should a Knife forum have a bit of an edge ?

 ;)

I guess I'm spoiled by MT.O   Lets face it, does anyone know of a friendlier forum than this? I don't.

I suppose that depends on the day really....  things flare up here too from time to time, even if I hate admitting it!   :ahhh

Agreed, most of the time it's quite civil.

But once in a while things flare up and it can become quite uncivil.  Seems like that is often due to some newb innocently asking for advice on what knife to buy.  ;>

Even with the occasional flareup, British Blades is much more civil than Bladeforums.

(I regularly read British Blades and Bladeforums, but don't post in either.)
