I find the plain Tinker to be lacking.....I prefer a SAK to also have scissors....so go for Super Tinker or Deluxe Tinker (adds pliers).

which is why a tinker'x'compact would be so cool, the Duke of Ed. Award one is a turn off with the rounded blade tip.. i mean when you're a hundred miles from civilisation how are you suppose to perform an emergency tracheotomy  :rant:

The DofE knife is something to encourage modding!  I'm sure they only made 1 run, and when they're gone, they are gone forever.
