The first scandi-grind knife from Blind Horse Knives. They did a very good job of it, the edge is very sharp and scandi-licious
The blade is 1095 carbon steel.
The little Estwing 14A hatchet is new too

I tested mine out by carving a little double-ended measuring spoon for making Bannock mix.

Nice knife, and indeed a formidable bit of spoonery to boot

Thanks Nuph
I've found that engaging in a bit of Spoon-foolery is a great way of testing a new knife...both the edge and how well it handles.
I was midway through the spoon when it occurred to me that I could have made the handle longer so that it could do double duty as a coffee spoon. I think that's what I will do on the next one.

My 13 year old daughter wanted to buy a t-shirt yesterday that said "Spooning leads to Forking" on it.
I'm choosing to believe that it was the cute picture of a spoon and fork that attracted her to it.
Cracking work there Spork btw!
I used to come here a lot.
