Gosh, I would think it is the custom Charles May FireAnT I received last fall. It was my first custom. I was on the wait list for 18 months and during that time I made several changes to the order ending with S30V and micarta handles (originally asked for ironwood and D2) because I thought it would be a knife I would keep on my fishing lanyard. After receiving it (and paying for it), I thought I can't possibly take this knife on the water and lose it. So it has become a part of my EDC rotation since it is small and flat enough to put it with its sheath in my back pocket. It has also taken me down the path of acquiring a few more custom knives.

Several have been important , the new OH Soldier and GAK , the Old Skool alox Soldier I got from GG . The Spirit X was a great score . The fact that I didn't aquire any new Tacticals was in itself quite remarkable !

I wish I had your will power. It seems so simple, don't buy a knife.  ::)
Sometimes change is a good thing, other times not so much!

I figure I can buy 10-20 SAK's for the cost of a top end Tactical ( like say , a Hinderer ) . I have done a carefull analysis of what I actually carry and use . I have a few top notch Tac's for when I might have to play for keeps , but that's not a daily occurance .
