I laughed at the whistle on this Wenger Survivor2 SAK. BUT NOT ANY MORE!!

A couple of days ago, while hiking one of the nature trails at Smithville county park, in Easthampton, NJ. a lady was walking with a rotwieler, that was barking in an unfriendly manner towards me. Her leash broke and and he started running towards me. How I got it out of my pocket ,I don't know, but I popped open the whistle of the survivor 2, and blew into it with all my breath. The whistle's painful pitch(and it does hurt)caused the rot to give out a yelped, and he 180'ed himself away from me!!

So if anyone from Wenger is reading this, PLEASE put the survivor 1&2 back on the market. That whistle is a useful tool to have!!

That's a pretty crazy story... glad to hear everythings ok :)

I carry a whistle on me all the time.  It's part of my EDC/basic survival kit.  They can be quite useful :)

Great story. I should include it in my "sales" pitch for the Survivors.

Good story BIG-TARGET.

I was just reading some of the Tool Tales posted at the Leatherman site HERE.  Too bad Wenger doesn't have a Tale of the Month contest like that, or you could enter and win some stuff!
In order to be certain of having the right tool for every job.........one must first acquire a lot of tools

Hopefully, someone from Wenger is reading this, and pushing his/her boss to put the survivor/survivor1 back into production!
