Bear does make their version, but is has no saw, a serrated blade and a combo blade. Too much serration. This one has the saw AND file, plus a coping blade and a MUCH larger wire cutting area by the strippers. And a wire pulling hook to boot.

i see, ok how about a PT-540 with a custom set of blades?

Not a bad idea Cliosguy, but the 540 is also beastly huge and about $120. I picked up my Bear for about $45

why do all these wire stripper tools only go down to 20 awg when breadboard wire is 22 awg?  It just doesn't make any sense... especially the RS one.

got one from home depot with the exact same tools but green handles and sheath for 14.95 USD

Bear tools are easy to disassemble and a saw or a file could easily be added, and other tools substituted as the user wishes. Bear doesn't sell components separately to my knowledge, but a used Bear can be picked up for around $20 for parts.
