   I've only ever owned a kick and for me it's a nice light mt but I wouldn't abuse it too much,not that I abuse my mt's

i got this condor version but when it arrived i wasnt to keen on the size so i made something fun for my 13 year old she really like it.  i got myself a max 3x5 note book cover and use it everyday i dont know what i did before, i also got a max micro and really like the size as it slips into my pocket nicely.

Jamie & Zed, those look cool! what are the smaller ones? The Maxped MINIs? I'm not that familiar with their interior design to recognize them

Yep its a mini N_N_R  very handy for a lighter option

And that's how I've put my stuff in it... there's still room in the left back pocket, but I put my keys either there or outside in the mesh pocket, so I need it to be "looser" there. There are also two spare batteries and some additional papers you can't see in the picture.



I've read comments by people who claim that the right corner of the back pocket has torn, but mine's okay so far. You just shouldn't cram everything you have in it, for this you have the larger organizers. Love it so far

Me too.

I don't think I've posted mine... will sort that out. It's not very "tooly", more like what I would have in a small handbag if that's all I carried.

I've developed a love/hate relationship with the MaxPed EDC's...  I love all the pockets and things but that makes me want to use every single one in some way, so they end up being too fat and hard to carry!  Argh!!!  I find myself loading one up for something, initially being happy with it, but then finding it, well, too fat or heavy, and I take all the crap I put in it and put it in something else.  Then I find I want more organization capacity, and go back to one of my MP-EDC's, and the cycle continues!

I agree it's hard not too over stuff these ,ive pretty much got there with the edc,the mini I'm more fussy too keep it light and flat as possible

After my last post in this thread, I went and got out my regular size MP EDC-O and put my small personal items in it.  It's working well so far, I think because I didn't over-stuff it.  I think that's the key to making them work well, not trying to make use of every single loop and pocket in one.  I've still got unused loops in my regular and so far it's working much better than before.  I'll post a pic later if I can; very busy today.

I try to stick to one layer of items on each side to avoid the overfilling, because when I fist got them I may have been putting way too much in each side

Bought two Mini's. One in Black and the other in Khaki.  I am already wanting a Micro and a Fatty or Beefy.  One thing that has already driven me nuts is the key ring that's sewn into the left side. I'm debating cutting it off, but don't wan't to regret it.

Great! Ohhhh, I also disliked this thing. I mean, there were a few occasions on which I used it, but it was rarely. I also didn't want to regret it, so I just tucked it in one of the pockets or fed it through one of the smaller loops outside and hung a key I don't use often to it or sth, so that it doesn't hinder me in the back pocket when I put sth there.

I cut it off as well.  I just didn't use it and it was getting in the way.

On my edc I just removed the plastic bit but on the mini I cut it right off,I'll never attach anything too it and adds bulk

Glad i'm not alone on not liking the key ring. I think i'm cutting mine off today. I honestly never see using it.

Don't cut! I recommend snapping it off instead so you can replace it later if you change your mind.

The ball in socket pivot area easily comes undone by the following instructions:

-Rotate the hook around so the ball aligns with the circular cutout in the hook's trench, aiming the opening side of the hook away from the nylon strap/plastic ball.

- Pinch the two together, between thumb and finger, and the ball will pop out of the hook's grip, freeing the hook to be stored elsewhere.

True, you still have a worthless little plastic ball hanging around, but it is much smaller and allows you to replace the hook if you ever need it, or want to sell the kit to another person.
