It begins....

This is it- the travel day.  I'm off to work for a few hours before I start the 9 hour journey to Las Vegas, which will put me there at around 2230 Las Vegas time, which will be about 0230 my time!  It's just after 0700, so I've got a bit of a long day ahead of me!

It's currently -8C with a high today of -2 and snow, so hopefully my plane won't be held up!  It'll be warmer in Toronto when I change planes, being a few degrees above zero.  Since I always travel wearing sandals to make it easier to get through security, it should be lots of fun!  ::)

At any rate, the SHOT Show has begun for me as the day when I leave is finally here!  I'll check in when I can, and keep everyone updated on my progress.

First steps are done- I am at the airport now, past security and sharing an outlet with a complete stranger.  After several hundred renovations, costing millions of tax dollars, apparently the only thing more expensive than flying is paying a hydro bill!  It's odd- for the last 40 years or so we have been becoming more distant from our fellow man, standing at the farthest urinal or taking the farthest seat on a bus, but now, today in the modern age, societies will form from groups huddled around outlets at the airport.   ::)

Ah well, at least she's attractive!
