Apocalypse Last Ditch Kit
on: November 15, 2013, 12:29:06 PM
I picked up one of these survival capsules in trade over on British Blades...

I've kitted it out before but thought I'd strip it down and toxify it >:D
Hard to tell from the pictures but its zombie green...

A couple of inner tube bands hold a DermaSafe Razor to the outside.

Kit inside includes...
Wire Saw
Brass Snare
Few metres of 200lb Kevlar cord
WetFire Tinder
Brass Sparker + Spare Flint
Compass
4 Matches
Kevlar Thread + Needles
3 Safety Pins

The crenelations have been sharpened and the tube can be used as a kubaton >:D
There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

Interesting kit. Do you think 1 brass wire snare would be enough?

Good question, but that is better than no brass wire snare.
If I can help, let me know

There's not a lot of room inside the capsule...more snares could be added if other items are left out and 1 is better than none ;)

Well that is true. I guess this is why survival kits are really individual

In my opinion for the size of the kit there are more efficient containers for having more supplies but do like that it is usable as a weapon. >:D

Interesting.  I'm still gonna stick with my go-to kit - a mickey of whiskey, a pack of Lucky Strikes and a good pair of sunglasses.

Single malt, of course.  We're not barbarians (yet).

Do you know if those are available on this side of the pond? It looks like something from Triple Aught Design, but TAD's gear is almost never in stock and when they are, the prices start at bend over and flinch and go right on up to kidney theiving.

Nice kit!  :tu: You could wrap some duct tape around it or some more snare wire under the empty ends of the inner tube bands.

A quick Google turned up a few over your side, cheapest being ebay :tu:
