Maybe swiss made, but probably not a vic.  Theres a lot of nice knives in there, but I wouldn't have a clue about an offer.  I would email the seller and go from there.

Actually it depends on the blade edge since most fruit "testing" knives have a plain edge and a long thin blade. Sometimes there is a small 2 prong fork on  the opposite end. Sausage knives usually have a serrated edge so there are differences. There is a huge collectors market for those kind of knives. The usual manufacturers make most but there are some high quality models made too.

From the looks of it, it didnt look like something collectable, Ill see what it is when it comes in. I like the style of it though, a very feminin looking knife it is. A fruit-knife(?) is something different indeed, my grandpa used something else entirely when pruning in his orchard!

its not so much for pruning but testing and tasting.  They are much larger in person than pics show without a sense of scale.

I've always called them melon knives.  They're probably the only slippies I own that I still can't carry due to the huge length :)
I'm not taking any more mod orders at present, sorry.

Ain't that the truth!

I like fruit knives, they're easy to carry but pack a lot of cutting power. Definitely the best knife to take if interaction with any sort of food is on the agenda.

Melon knives or testors would be more along the lines of what they are used for. A buyer would use the length of the blade to plunge cut a triangle shaped plug out of the center of the melon and pull it out to see the condition of the inside. Many are made for giveaway premiums from fruit growers. Large buyers would get them as a year end gift or premium for thanking them for their business. I remember seeing my father cut these type of plugs from watermelons back when I was just a little boy.

I have one from a trade with Neil and it's a cool if somewhat odd thing!

As for an offer on that bundle, you want to pay as little as possible of course ;)

Used smaller SAKs unless rare only fetch a few quid each in reality, and there's a couple like that champ which are worth a bit more, so it depends what condition they're in and what your intentions for them are really.
