Eh, I think they're - dare I say it? - /too/ limited.  I could see it being better if the other end was a Phillips screwdriver, but I'd rather just have a Keyton or G4 Prybaby. *shrugs*

I skipped this one too.

One tool (screw driver), one admittedly poorly functioning tool (opener).  Made of Titanium (IME not the best screwdriver material)

AND (as mentioned)

$70  :ahhh

A lot for a little IMO. :-\

In order to be certain of having the right tool for every job.........one must first acquire a lot of tools

I agree with Ben and Bob.  You could unscrew it and have one or two standard bits.  Have where the keyring goes the stardard 1/4 hex drive and then you could use the brewdriver has a high torque handle.  And why make something that takes two times to do.  Any SAK can do it in one, hell a bic can do it in one.  These need more work in my opinion.

But with the intro of Raker, JDR, & other(s), the day of Atwood doing what he has on blogspot may be numbered.  And he have to got the traditional way like everyone else.

Some run from breaks of ice, and answer none:
And some condemned for a fault alone." -William Shakespeare, King Lear (1608), Act IV, scene 6, line 169

If he keeps coming up with tools like the Brewdriver his days will be numbered.   :D  What a stinkbomb of a tool!

Why carry the brewdriver when you can get sooo much more in an equally sized package? It looks pretty bulky to me. The smaller one doesn't seem much better.

However, if he made it longer it could be a kuboton that has has a screwdriver and poor bottle opener.

Actually, no... in a classic supply demand model and he's missing out on a lot of money. ::)

His market isn't very large either, as other things and people have picked up the slack since he started.

You're missing out on one vital piece there, the fact that his market isn't very large because he limits it.  The guys sells out on everything in hours and people buy from him, not necessarily because they like the design, but because they are hooked into Atwood collecting.  For him to suffer with poor designs, he would need to release bad after bad one for a long long time.  I honestly reckon the guy could sell out on anything small and metal just because his name is on it.

Huh??

I think he was commenting more on the poor design than the comment.  ;)

Have to say that I agree with the majority here. Stinker of a tool, but people will still snap them up, just because his name is on it.
I bet dollars to donuts that if ANYBODY else made this tool it would sit on a shelf and collect dust. I'll stick with my superbug, opens bottles in one shot and is a 5/16th's wrench. Screwdriver tip and has a 1/4 inch driver along with a phillips bit captive in a cut out. For less money. Although it is "only" steel.
