Anyone know the maker of this??

The blade says,
EXPLORER
MASTER
21-032

on one side and
440 Stainless
Japan

on the other.

Just curious because I actually have one of these that I bought from a knife shop in San Francisco on its last day of business, in the last 4 minutes of the place being open (fully on purpose).  They wanted 120.00 for it and I gave them $66.00 cash.  This was about 15 years ago.

This is pretty thin, but I've seen that same stamping on other knives imported from Japan by a firm called Parker Cutlery. Try giving them a google, along with the name Jim Parker.

Hope that helps. :-\

Lol!  I know what you mean.  Used to love survival knives when I was younger and wanted a Buck Master since the first time I saw it in the mid-80's.   Mine is a quality copy of the Buck Master and is made to be used, not as a display piece like some of those movie copies of the Rambo knife or Commando knife of the same era.  Been using it for years and have never resharpened it yet!  I have some green staining on the blade from using it to open cans of green beans while camping though.....anyone know how to get rid of those??
