This is a GREAT knife--the toughest Farmer ever made, IMO...I have carried and used mine HARD since they were first sold, and lemme tell you, that finish can take some incredible abuse. I've even dropped it off a ladder onto a concrete floor without a mark.

About as tough as it can get, so I'm told.I watched a man literally attack mine with a quarter trying to scratch it. He actually wore down the quarter rubbing it so hard against the finish, and there wasn't a mark on it. Bob (J-Sews) was there, witnessing the whole thing. Given how hard the guy (Doug Dillman at Freeport Knives in case anyone is wondering!) was going at it, Bob and I kind of cringed a bit, as Doug wasn't taking any prisoners with it! We were amazed at the ferocity he went at it with, and yet it stood up to it with no problems. Not a bloody mark on it!These knives are simply amazing....Def
