Well Captain, if an armed thug demanded 2 of the 3 Delicas  from me ( assuming all were on me at the time)
I would keep the full flat ground one, give him the saber ground and half serrated, and  take off before the thug wanted them all

Short answer - The  FFG one

The other budget Spyderco that nobody really talks about. No love for the Cat?

I think it had a history of initial spotty quality and an identity crisis on top of that.
Dropping the S30V blade and the CF scales for a mid range steel, great clip, ergonomic design;  makes it a great "cheaper" EDC knife coming in between the Chinese Tenacious family and the more expensive USA or Tiachung offerings.
Mine is perfectly centered with tight lockup and slick action.
440C is a good step up from 8CR13MoV and the clip is the same as that found on the Sage and Dragonfly.
Jimping on the choil and thumbramp are grippy and the G10 seems to be finer grip than the Chinese.
I hear the new ones may come in BD-1 in future, I would love a s30v blade but at this price point you cant fault the 440C. It takes a great edge and does not rust.

Love my little Cat.

What a score.   :tu:   :tu:

"Score" is very apt as it came with a set of John Grimsmo titanium scales as part of the deal.
Pop the clip off with the Skeletool bit and then put the Cybertool to work swapping the scales.

Perfect fit.

Disregard the small knives.

Why?! Ganzo isn't a bad maker and those tiny ones are great for having in a drawer at work for ED office needs.

That one looks etched and not the special Damascus laminate that they have used in special Delicas.
