On the way.... Spyderco Breeden Rescue

(Image removed from quote.)

That particular designer (Jason Breeden) certainly has a very distinctive "look" to his knives, doesn't he?  If I remember correctly, he was the designer behind the Spyderco Captain as well.

That would be correct. And I want them both...

Not sure how but I seem to have collected a few Spyderco's

Could be worse though :D

Apparently the 117V on the Orange one is in relation to Spyderco's Collector Program. Does anyone have any further info on it?

Nice collection

All my Manix's with the addition of my new mini Manix.

(Image removed from quote.)

There is something wrong with your foliage green Sprint run Manix.
I think you should send it to me for a "long term inspection".

Thats one that I missed out on and would really like to pick up sometime when I get a little extra cash again.

Just these two that I got some time ago to see what they were about (these were the cheapest and cutest option). Never had the desire to get any more; not keen on the look.

I will have to agree with you that Spyderco makes some truly ugly looking knives. However when you actually handle the blades you instantly forgive the strange shape when you feel how well the knife fits your hand.
Other manufacturers certainly make better looking knives. Spyderco however makes knives to be used and you would be hard pressed to find another manufacturer with comparable ergonomics and price.

They do grow on you and eventually you start to compare other brands to Spyderco. Spyderco also pioneered and introduced into mainstream many knife features we associate with modern folding knives today.

I agree a knife's beauty is directly related to its functionality and there are few others which can compete. (I need more Spydies!)

That last one was personally designed and fabricated for me by Sal Glesser at Spyderco.  The scales are fabricated from heat shield tiles taken from the Columbia space shuttle, and the blade steel is a special alloy mined from Siberian meteorites and ice-quenched in a Russian nuclear reactor for unsurpassed edge retention.

Or maybe its just a Dragonfly G10 that I stretched with photoshop.
