before I finalize this clip with some blue locktite, do I need to get the red off the screws(its not too thick) in maybe a wd40 bath? or can I just apply the blue on top of it?

Struggled a bit when I moved the clip on my Skyline, fingers slipped and a whole mess of blue Loctite came out....just carried on and tightened everything down.

When I moved the clip back shortly thereafter the clip left a Loctite footprint that rubbing alcohol couldn't remove.

I doubt the Loctite could eat into the G10....?

yeah its not easy working with non magnetic bits and tiny screws. soaked screws in rubbing alcohol several times and was able to remove red, put the blue in water bottle cap and applied with toothpick, still it was a messy panicky affair, got a lot of blue on my hands but none on the knife thankfully.

Salt on a boat

An acquaintance of mine made a kydex sheath for his Dragonfly Salt that sandwiches the front half short of the pocket clip. the kydex was molded into the Spydie hole and he wears it as a neck knife which deploys when takes out  8)

No, sorry, not much chance of that

He lives in a neighboring country, which is not a problem thanks to technology, but what is a problem is the fact that he's a..........smurf

Anybody who writes a thesis on my faceballs page about why paper cutting (in reference to a Cedric & Ada steel test video) is not a valid test, must go take a jumping, flying, smurfing leap  :salute:

Considering what you've got, that's a tougher question than you might think.

You seem to be more user than collector, but you started at the pinnacle of utility.....

Something pretty next?  :gimme:

I was fondling last night, and I realised what would be really sweet is a Salt Two with a blade stock as thick  as the Pacific and a higher grind....
