In enjoying trying new steels, this laminate “san mai” type is a cost effective way to get a tough blade that does most things well.

Yes it’s a V-Toku2 Manbug along with a Delica to go with the Endura I got a few weeks ago.

I know what you want.......but you can't have it
 :worthless:

3 weeks ago I went to the farm with my cousin, bit of a break for me but they're trying to sell the place, and there's a lot that needs to be done before that can happen.....

But this is the Spyderco thread.....so on to the meat.  My Pacific went along, it needs some pocket miles and I figured if something similar to last time happens, at least the yellow will be easier to see

First really surprising thing is the Pacific rides and more importantly stays in my pocket better than the Salt 1.........I assume the Salt 1 is just short enough to catch my leg when I sit down and self-eject, not an issue with the Pacific.

We had to try and unblock a 60m deep bore hole, the blockage was past 40m and our effort involved knotting several tow straps together with a 22kg piece of steel at the end, hoisting up and dropping it into the hole.

The borehole is still blocked, the Spyderco Pacific glides through a tow strap  8)

I was again left with that feeling you do not need more knife than that......  :salute:

One of the most bada$$ blades ever produced by Spyderco.

Bob Lum designed this Tanto for Spyderco. Lum was responsible for introducing the Tanto design to the American market.

RIP Mr.Lum.

LOL. Good one.

Here is another really  bada$$ knife. This,as can be seen, was designed by Robert Terzuola. He was the first knife-maker to have coined the term "tactical folder" ,which is in common use today. He designed knives for Benchmade,Microtech and Spyderco.

This was termed the Starmate,I believe. It was made of one of the first super steels created by Crucible. It was also made in their Golden Colorado plant.

This not a photoshopped image,I do own two.

Whether the great Pacific or smaller Delica,
both are prolific, but neither made in America
