I am fighting off all temptations of Spydie ads.

Even though I'm on the Official Spyderco Facebook page now too

Good thing they don't go waaaay back!
Also good thing that one premium Spydie costs me as much as a handfull of vintage SAKs.

For now only the second part of Show & Tell....

During my few days off I finally took to my chipped Maxamet Mule with the Lansky, I was a little bit worried and it did take a bit of effort with the extra coarse diamond stone to get  the chips out, but after that it was plain sailing.

The thing is a lazer  :woohoo:

Also, feel free to search and check for yourself, Super Steel Steve did a toughness comparison of Maxamet and S30V......not scared to use the Mule....didn't pay for it  :like:

Becoming very good friends with my Para3, it's basically my EDC now, everywhere except the engineering shop where I work afternoons.

Went camping a few days in the desert, did not hesitate, Pacific Salt was in my pocket.

Ran into an acquaintance in the shop a few days ago, bit older than me but we share several interests including Spyderco

Showed him my Para3, and he took out his Pacific to complain about how dull it is......

Anybody ever seen a Pac so used the bit sticking out from the pocket seems to be bleached?

He doesn't do facebook, but I figured this is the perfect place for somebody like him, emailed him a link yesterday  :salute:

bleached as in the Yellow FRN has a different tone,
bleached as in "melted, scratched, shredded or broken"
or bleached as in "RIT Dyed" of another color, such as this?:  :dunno:

Here's a pic of my Spyderco Keating:

"Those who do evil to others:  the killers, the rapists, psychos, sadists.  Will come to know me well.  Frank Castle is dead!  Call me . . . The Punisher."

"Out of the night comes a man who saves lives at the risk of his own:
Once a circus performer, an aerialist who refused the net...
Once a cat burglar, a master among jewel thieves...
And now, a professional bodyguard - primitive, savage, in love with danger."  - T.H.E CAT
