Hmm.
Manix 2 is a little too large...

Para 3 still tops the wish list.

Yeah. It's the largest folding knife I have. Barely legal here...

Just spent a good(bad) 1 1/2 hours disassembling Persistence to remove factory grease from pivot. Unfortunately the lanyard column must be peened or something and I couldn't take liners & scales fully off(didnt want to crack G10 scales around lanyard hole, maybe should have watched a youtube vid b4hand), had to work through partially wedged open pivot side but was able to clean it up, & with assist from vic tweezers get the washers & stop pin back in, but it fought back pretty hard. Also thanks to LM wave pliers with another assist holding torx columns, needed 1 bit to unscrew but needed 2 T6 bits and a third arm[belly button ]. No idea why they use this thick stinky grease, action is much better with oil & smells better lol.

Long boring story, it can probably be pushed through but I was getting flustered and playing operation was kinda fun in a panicky masochistic way, but when you cant afford the pricier models....you get what you pay for  :twak:.

Tools used: 2 T6 bits, 1 T8, 3 bit drivers, 1 Leatherman wave, 1 Vic classic tweezer, 1 dental flosser plastic pick, 1 energizer headlamp>batteries died, 1 Olight headlamp, 10 tissues, 3 paper towels, rubbing alcohol, 8 Qtips, 2 advils.

If you watch a few Nick Shabaz videos you'll see that peened lanyard tube on many of the expensive models as well

LOL, when you start to smell your own flop sweat.... and think "I'm never gonna do this again" and then everything goes back together ... I only have enough courage to tinker with under $40-$50 knives tho(not that I have many over that price range)...one tool I forgot to mention was magnetic tray/cup so you dont have to worry about parts rolling away.

I had one of the Skyline's screws go flying, fortunately found it.

I've fallen in love with my Para3, but knowing that I would have to deal with permanent thread locker and a peened lanyard tube drives me up the walls......it's either my most or 2nd most expensive knife
