I just saw it on the Spyderco Forum.  I'm surprised because it's a great seller.

Well if they are discontinued it’s probably due to lack of sales! Or a new improved model?

Nice one TOOLGUY.  I believe thats the Bushcrafter with the Burl handles.  They were cracking so Spyderco stopped production and discounted them with no warranty.  I missed getting one.  At least thats what I think is in the picture  :dunno:.

You are correct.A friend sent a text making me aware of the sale.

I was fortunate that my example had no cracks.I can't remember what I paid for it but $80.00 comes to mind.I could be mistaken though.

The friend, who sent the text, received one that had a crack in the handle. He told me that he mixed some clear epoxy and pushed it into the crack and it has remained stable since then.

Nice set up  :tu:

Thanks.

This comes in handy when pocket carry is problematic. For instance when using a backpack with a waistbelt.

Or wearing tactical gear including a weapon holster ect.,ect.

You then can attach to a d ring or another attachment designed for that purpose.

Can’t imagine sales are the reason.

Every knife and tool nerd I know has a Pacific Salt and loves it.

That said we are a very small percentage of the customer base.

What does LC200 bring to the table that wasn’t already supplied by H1?

Better edge retention on PE blades.  Thats what I've read at least.

for all practical purposes just as rust proof as H1 but with edge retention similar to S30/S35VN...... :hatsoff:

Native 5 Salt and the CruWear/Micarta Shaman......those two would complete my life

Yeah right......

I dont have a Pacific Salt, however, everyone who I know that has one ehaults them.

My preference is the Atlantic Salt, which o do have, and the Salt 1, of which I have 2.

Are they maybe going with that new 2000 steel instead of H1?

Interesting.

Would love something H1 like in rust resistance but with enough edge retention that I could run it in plain edge.

Mech, have you carried yours yet?
I've always been curious about what that tool can do!
My second one arrived!!

This one is used, but not abused.

What was that about one for display and one for carrying??

Yes I have, but haven't really used the pliers or wrench so far.

The design is great fun! Lots of fiddle factor :D
