I think it's important to understand the critters we have around us but I think even I, who loves nearly everything in the animal kingdom, would draw the bloody line at that! I down get the whole birds in cages thing anyway, so what do I know  ???

The only way I'd keep a bird in a cage is if it was a large enough cage to let the little buggers stretch their wings.  Think floor to ceiling, three feet by three feet- minimum!
