I drooled over that yellow Pacific Salt that Spoony had posted in the For Sale forum, and yet resisted the urge to get it.  Then Swiss Man tells me he's getting it for a friend of his, and I think "good, I'm off the hook."  Now it looks like his friend who wanted it has backed out and I'm going to trade something to get it, because I know how much he hates having doubles, and he got Spoony's black one already.  Between the Pacific Salt and the Spyderco thread, I'm lusting after Spydies.

Looking over my tac folder collection I see that while everything else has come and gone over the years, I still have a fair number of Spydies, but I still don't have the one I have always lusted after- the carbon fiber scaled Police model.  Fortunately the CF model is ultra rare and a b*tch to find, so I likely won't get one, but I have the itch and I've been searching for one for sale all day.

So, for putting the idea into my head in a manner that makes it almost impossible to get out, I would like to inform everyone involved that you all suck- royally.

I know what you mean.  A month ago, I had zero spydercos.  Now I have 3 with a 4th on the way.  I have a Delica, Tenacious, Stretch (just got it and love it) and a stainless Police on the way.  Now I'm eyeballing the paramilitary and the military.  Problem I have is there are no dealers (yes...DEALers...I need my fix) in the NW USA that stock the Military, Paramilitary, Stretch and many other models, soooooooooo

I'm forced to buy them to see which ones I like best!  I plan on putting some of my purchases up online for auction, but damn...the upfront investment is huge!

I stripped down and cleaned my UKPK yesterday after my wife had been using it in the kitchen for months .There was a little rust on the backspring but thats all gone now   Its all oiled and sharpened now

I've got to say that I kind of got the Q by accident (Thanks again Zack and Micah!) but I have always wanted one simply as a curiosity.  I like the design and concept of it, and I was sad to see it was discontinued.  Still, it was never on my "must have" list, but I find myself playing with it almost constantly these days.  It's so bloody lightweight that you barely know it's there, and yet it's solid enough that you know you can use it for tough jobs.
