Good pair of folding scissors
on: February 16, 2010, 08:44:59 PM
Hi all,

I've been considering getting a pair of collapsible scissors to place on my keychain. I have a Micra modded (re: snapped off) without the blade, but it's a little too bulky for my liking. I've seen a few, but I'm not entirely sure about quality. I've read Dritz kind of sucks. I'm not particularly fond of anything Coghlan's. I've seen a few others, like Singer and RoadPro on Amazon, too. Anyone have a preference or recommendation on the thing? The only must is that there must be a keychain loop, and the lighter the better.

TIA!

Keith

Check these, Garrett Wade is a reputable company, check their catalog, I'd post a link but I don't think it's allowed.

They have all the features you need.

I found those SlipnSnips (or knock-offs) at the surplus store and stuck one in everybody's Christmas stocking. They loved them. I keep one in my paracord and sewing kits. Nice, solid, and sharp.

Linking is indeed fine as long as you aren't promoting your own site without prior consent.  This is what we refer to as spamming.
I'm back!!

are these really that much smaller than the micra?  hard to believe that a pair of scissors smaller than that could be useful.
